you can make your own firmware as you want, but you are not allowed to change something on sonys firmware.

i think because they dont want people to make firmwares which play isos. but thats still not illegal. it is illegal WHEN you play isos with it.
so cfw as it is, is not illegal. only if you play isos.
and i think they want to stop hackers from playing games as the new releases all need 6.20 ofw.
